The MLR released the 2019 schedule today! The only surprise for those not paying attention to off season announcements is that the 2019 Season will begin much earlier. It's a breakneck scheduled tearing across the country for 19 weeks of regular season rugby. With the addition of the Toronto Arrows and Rugby United New York (RUNY) we now have 9 teams resulting in 4 games every week, until playoffs begin in June. Kickoff starts January 26th the Arrows at New Orleans facing the NOLA Gold at 3PM EST. Then at 6PM EST the Huston Saber Cats take on the Austin Elite Rugby in Austin. In a repeat of the 2018 MLR Championship the Seattle Seawolves will host the Glendale Raptors Sunday January 27 at 1030PM EST.
Once again CBS Sports will feature an MLR Game of the Week. All other games can be found on ESPN+ and AT&T Sports Net. Full MLR Schedule This is a great move for USA Rugby and for our Women’s Team. While he’s been the Interim Head Coach since August, the interim was only removed from the title in the last few days. Chris Brown takes the helm with an immense amount of experience leading some bad Ruckers… Over the past 4 years he’s served as the Assistant Coach, Strength and conditioning coach, and Development Coach roles for the Men’s Eagles. It was during this time that the USA Rugby team has been able to climb from a 13th place finish in the 2013/14 World Cup Sevens series to our 6th place finish in this years World Cup Sevens. That’s just his most recent accomplishments. We’re eager to see all the Eagles mount serious challenges in World Cup and exhibition play… Go Birds!

This is perhaps the only game where a player who's just been ejected from the game while turn to the referee and say "Sorry, sir" as they turn to leave the field. It is our goal to help you learn this wonderful game, while developing a passion and respect for the athleticism, hard work, and moral character the game teaches. You will players knocked down hard, only to get back up again and keep driving towards they're goal. The team work you will witness is a necessity if anyone hopes to score. And on occasion, you will witness punches being thrown when someone is getting out of line or taking advantage of a lax referee, because it's important to stand up for yourself and your team.
Finally at the end of every game, you'll watch as the two teams who've spent the last 80 minutes beating the hell out of each other shake hands, and in most cases, head to the bar to share a few pints. Join us for this great new experience as Major League Rugby and USA Rugby bring the American public a rugby experience worthy of our aspirations and competitive spirit! Welcome to US Hooker!
